hi i have posted this before.but i,ll put on the board in it,s own thread.there are 3 tools in this zip file, one is 7zip for all of you that dont have a zip program one is called drivermax, this will check your hard drive for all your drivers and back them up in a folder on your hard drive separately.so if a driver stops working or gets corrupted you can reinstall it easily.the last one is called unlocker this will delete any stubborn file ie:exe files or trojan that wont shift,or malware that cant be removed in the normal way.hope these may prove useful to you all oldsage www.box.net/public/imiubz0ctb

Hi oldsage ive downloaded and installed the toolbox you mentioned but to be honest where it removes malware and trojans i would be very careful. It might remove it on your prompt but like a lot of malware and trojans they re-write themselves on bootup or when a certain prog is executed. So if you do have any trojans do a google and there are companies that specialise in how to remove it also you can get info how to remove it manually. if you are after a freeware prog try spybot search & Destroy www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html there are other but dunno if theyre free regards levi2

spybot works up to a point this prog called unlocker takes out that elusive core that wont shift, even when using top brand names if all attempts fail,it will pop up and offer to remove it for you

all programs are! but if you cannot remove a virus core or a program that will not release itself from your system and it is causing you a lot of probs, then the only alternative is to reinstall!.in which case there is nothing to lose, but a lot to gain!.this is a last resort program that could get you out of trouble if everything else fails.
