Hi John, Welcome to the forum. You'll find this is one of the most welcoming and friendliest forums on the web. You'll find you can upload the mid file you've edited to the member's area and if Glenn (the founder of the site) sees it he may well replace the original version with yours (I know he will). If you investigate further you'll find lots of other areas for questions, chit chat and so on. Have a great time and do join in with discussions. It's a necessity here! Best regards, JohnG.

John is quite right.
If someone uploads a better version that is on site, I will replace it.
There are many files with little glitches, like the one you mention - These are not MM files and therefore we do not re-touch or edit these files.
If a member wishes to edit and amend the files for the better, then go ahead.....

John....
If this is just an amendment to a file that is already on site then please send/attach it to an email and post it to me.....
If the file is on the request section, and you have altered or amended it in any way, please use the Upload Portal (Full instructions are there) and create a link directly from the original post.....
Never upload a file that is on the main site.....

Hi John
You actually joined the MidiMart forum on the 4/9/7, I subsequently sent you a welcoming E Mail on the 6/9/7, stating that if you had any problems, you should contact me, I have never received such a querie.
I would be happy to assist you if you are having problems, but unless I am aware of a problem, I cannot assist, I am also bemused by the fact that you say that
If that were the case then surely this post would have been deleted.

John, dont get upset. Obviously there has been some probs in the communication. Glenn has always been there to help and sort out any problems. Gerraint will help too . You should try and sens personal messages to them or e-mail them directly and I'm sure they'll clear any misunderstanding. Its a great family here, John, and I am sure things will be sorted out soon, so just be patient a bit. SMILE, John and dont get lawyers in with us musicians. Believe me they can only count notes not play them !!!

John....
I too have had no communication from your good self, I have tried and tested your username and password that you created, and all seems fine this end. I can log on and download files using your log in details.
These log in details you have created them yourself (these are your personal username and password), I do hope you are not using the Temp access details as these have now been superseded.
Geraint. Could you please check the log-in details for the main site for this member actually works. I have checked them this end and I have no problems.

Hi John,
Please have patience with these guys, I know they are doing their best to sort out your problems.
I am a relatively new member too and have to tell you that this is one of the most friendly sites on the Internet. The moderators seem to me to be the best there are in terms of helpfulness and are personally committed to sorting out problems. They may not always have an immediate answer to a problem but they certainly do their level best to sort them.
It was this feature that made me decide to start writing some articles for them. BTW I have no connection with the site other than as a gold member and forum contributor.
Best regards, JohnG.

I have tried and tested your log in details to download files from the main site and from the forum.....
Both are exactly the same and I CAN download using your details......
PM me with a new username and password and we can try this.

Glad things are clear now, John. Dont worry too much about it and dont feel too bad .. we all make mistakes, but the magnanimity lies in owning up and apologising.. Dont think of lying low ...just get up and post in and make us put our thinking caps on !!

Hey John, We all make mistakes you know, yes even one of our ladies has owned up to making one in her lifetime. It's what makes us human and not computers! It's an attribute. We like you more for owning up. So don't lurk, please, just join in with the rest of us humans(?). The more the merrier. Regards, JohnG.
