Hi Paul, If your making out a list could you find out who would be interested in staying overnight? And roughly how many Double/Single rooms might be required. We should get a deal from them if we have the numbers. Larry Larry I won't be staying over night as I only live about an hour and a half away. Plus I don't drink alcohol, so wouldn't be any use after hours What time is the meet?

Yep, count me in too. Are we bringing along some instruments; guitars, banjos, spoons, etc........ I can bring a PA if the hotel would allow it

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I'm bringing an acoustic anyway!!!!! Easiest thing to do is let LarryC try and suss what's going on with the hotel, maybe see if they will allow us bring a P.A, as it would be cool to hear other musi's here, however....... if anyone has acoustic instruments,. (Fiddle,Accordion, Mandolin, Bazooka bring them along, worse case scenario, we'll have a trad session in the bar (Free Pints Anyone???)

I was in contact with the Hodson Bay and the prices they quoted seem a little naughty, B&B €80 per person, Single room supplement + €25 B&B+Dinner €105, Single room supplement + €25 If we get enough numbers IE about 20 they will knock a few quid off However for a Monday night I think they are a little too pricey, might be worth trying another hotel in Athlone or Mullingar, Larry (larryc)

OK........... Annebrook House hotel in Mullingar can do an Apartment rate for us (Sleeps 4) @ 60PPS, so your thoughts would be appreciated, best i could do. OR!!!!........ I could ring another mate who runs a pub here in Mullingar and see if he will let us set up a PA, and we can have a few scoops there, then back to the hotel for Residents bar and sleep
